48 hours after the Binayi Khola bridge in East Nawalparasi under the Mahendra highway was broken, two-way traffic has been operated from the diversion road constructed there.

According to Rajan Timilsina, police inspector of Dumkibas area police office, two-way traffic has been operated since 10:30 on Sunday night after constructing a diversion road. Traffic has been disrupted since last Friday when a truck carrying heavy goods came to Binayi Khola bridge, 400 meters east of Dumkibas market.

A diversion road (temporary road) has been constructed so that it can be exited at Mahendra Highway at 500 meters to the east of the bridge by constructing a diversion road towards the north near the Binayi river bridge.
