In order to improve the educational level of students in rural areas, Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality of Tanahun has started a hostel. Ward no. As the number of students in schools in the rural areas of grades 5 and 6 is decreasing, the rural municipality has started hostels with the aim of conducting teaching and learning in an integrated manner.
A dormitory building with a capacity of 50 people has been prepared in Kanyadevi Secondary School located in Hillekhark, Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality-6 of Tanahun. Principal of the school Suryaman Gurung said that necessary infrastructure for building construction and hostels has been prepared with Rs.
Shukar Chuman, chairman of the rural municipality, while inaugurating the dormitories building, said that the dormitories were put into operation with the aim of accommodating the students of schools with low student numbers and making it easier for them to study. 
He said, "After the onset of winter, the students of this area have been camping around the school because they are far away from the school." In terms of management and finances, the parents were killed and away from the parents, because there was no improvement in the education of the students, so for the improvement of educational quality and accommodation management, a free dormitory was managed in the school.' It takes 1.5 to 2 hours for students to commute to school . Therefore, they were forced to spend 5 to 10 thousand rupees per month on the school.
Chairman Chuman said that the hostel program is an important initiative for improving the educational level of students in rural areas and the rural municipality provides all necessary support for the systematic operation of the hostel and for this, positive initiatives and cooperation from all parties are needed. school, 45 students of classes 8, 9 and 10 have started studying in the dormitory. Chairman Chuman said that the main objective of the program is to facilitate education for students in remote areas and to improve the educational quality of public schools. He said, ``10 lakh rupees has been allocated for the hostel management from the village assembly . We will look at the situation till March and manage it further.'
Gurung, the principal of the school informed that the students from Chimkeshwari, Hillekhark, Chapiswara, Sinarkhola, Gulmung, Ghatodanda, Dhinko and other villages of Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality arrived at the school after spending more than two hours and started studying in the dormitory.

The rural municipality has arranged for about 30 volunteer teachers to fill the vacant posts of schools for the improvement of the public education sector.
