Two people, including the head of the Mugu District Coordination Committee, were injured in a traffic accident in Kawasoti in East Nawalparasi.
Kawasoti under East-West Highway Manjan Karki, head of Mugu District Coordination Committee, 50 years old, and driver Mugu Soru-3, resident year-20, when a tipper numbered 06-001 B 0231 and Ba 1 Jh 9116 of Mugu District Coordination Committee collided in Municipal Ward No. 16, Chalis Kilo. The police said that Bhavira Karki was injured.
According to DSP JC Shah of District Police Office Nawalpur, the accident took place when a Sumo car going from Kathmandu to Mugu and a tipper coming from Chormara to Kawasoti collided. The condition of both the injured persons is moderate and they are being treated at Madhyabindu District Hospital in Danda.
