A 21-year-old youth who fell from the dam of the Seti River near Deephousing in Pokhara Metropolitan City-16 has been found dead.
A rescue team from the Armed Police Force, Kalika Gana Kaski was deployed after receiving information that a person had fallen into the Seti Dam at 7:20 PM on Wednesday.
A special disaster management team of 9 people, including 4 divers, retrieved his body and took it to Manipal Teaching Hospital for post-mortem, informed DSP Rajanlal Shrestha, information officer of Kalika Gana. According to him, Sangam Paudel, 21 years old, is living in Pokhara-19 Lamachaur, having his permanent home in Dhangadhi, Kailali district, and studying at Paschimmanchal Engineering College Lamachaur.
The police deployed on the basis of the information took out the body in 20 minutes and 25 seconds and took it to the hospital.
