Manshamjer Gurung, who was arrested on the charge of murdering 17-year-old Suchina Ghale of Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality-1, has been sent to prison for remand. The body of Suchina, who had gone to the forest to cut grass on November 15th, was found buried on November 18th in Maikhark forest in Barpak.
Police arrested 43-year-old Manshamjer of Barpak on the charge of killing Suchina on November 24. During the investigation, it was revealed that he was killed by hitting various parts of the body including the head with a sickle and buried in a pit.
On Sunday, the accused Gurung was submitted to the Gorkha District Court by the police. District Police Office Gorkha Police Inspector Dhruva Prasad Sharma said that the court's remand order ordered the accused Gurung to be sent to jail for preliminary investigation.
