Galkot Municipality has brought into operation an urban clinic targeting Madhyapahari Lokmarg. Mayor Bharat Sharma Gayre said that the clinic was brought into operation with the aim of providing first aid and referral to those injured in road accidents on the highway.

Almost 40 km section of Madhyapahari Lokmarg falls in Galkot Municipality.
