Two people died in an accident that happened on Tuesday in Ambukhaireni rural municipality-1 Andhikhola of the district.

Munendra Thapa, District Police Office Tanahun Police Inspector, said that the driver of the truck carrying bricks, 30-year-old Bhesraj Parajuli of Udaipur and co-driver Vijay Bishwakarma, 28 of Rautahat, died. A Scorpio numbered 01-001 or 1659, which was going from Dumre to Ambukhareni, was hit by a truck numbered A 2-0300-1 KH 2448 coming from the opposite direction. He said, "After the collision, the Scorpio remained on the road and the truck fell from the middle of the bridge and crashed." The crashed truck was pulled out with the help of a crane.
