Construction of child-friendly classrooms in flood-affected schools, distribution of educational materials to students

Bal Siddha Basic School of Madhyabindu Municipality-15 of East Nawalparasi, which was damaged by the flood in the Narayani River on October 12, has been repaired and a child-friendly classroom has been constructed. When the school was inundated due to the flood, education was affected.

In the coordination of Madhyabindu Municipality, Jagriti Bal and Yuva Sarokar Nepal, Nepal Helpe Biticum Kinder in Children Nepal, with the help of the flood-damaged school classrooms have been made child-friendly.  Child-friendly classes have been managed since it is difficult for children to study in

, especially in children's classes and pre-primary level. Deepak Sharma, secretary general of Jagriti Bal and Yuva Sarokar Nepal, said that 3 classes of coloring, mural writing, and ECD classes were managed at a cost of around 10 lakh rupees.

With classroom management and a child-friendly classroom environment, bags, tracksuits, coffee, pencils, soap, brushes and tooth paste have been distributed to 72 students studying in that school.

Bhimalal Adhikari, the head of Madhyabindu Municipality, said that the happy curriculum has been implemented in the city and plans have been made to increase the attraction of students in public schools.
