Ambukhaireni rural municipality of the district has opened a bank account for students with the aim of developing the habit of saving cash in the children and making it easier for them to study.

Bank accounts of students studying in community and institutional schools under the municipality have been included in the annual policy and program. 

Shukar Chuman, chairman of the rural municipality, said that under the educational reform program, bank accounts have been opened in the name of students by operating a 'student savings account'. Chuman said that the aim of this program is to develop the habit of saving from a young age, access to higher education according to interest and ability, and develop entrepreneurship to help build a golden future.

rural municipality started this program from Ramshah Secondary School located in Ambukhaireni-3 on November 6th. According to the rural municipality, the bank accounts of around 300 students have been opened so far. "When we started the program, we started by opening bank accounts only for female students studying in community schools," he said, "and now we are going to open bank accounts for female and male students studying in community and institutional schools." A free student savings account will be opened for female students studying in school with a saving balance of Rs. It has to be done. He said, "We will open a student savings account for students from classes 1 to 10. It also develops the feeling that they should save from a young age.'' Chief Administrative Officer Bishnu Prasad Sharma said. He said that this program, which started from Ramshah Mavi, will be conducted in public schools of all wards. 

Similarly, about 7 thousand students are studying in the rural municipality. Student account will be opened in coordination with Kumari Bank. He said that the bank will provide health insurance facility worth 20,000 rupees. He said, 'This program will help to develop the habit of saving, ensure access to education and health of students, access to higher education according to the interests and abilities of students.' are About 7,167 students are studying in that school. The rural municipality is going to open free bank accounts for 2,500 female students studying in community schools. For which the rural municipality has allocated a budget of 25 lakh rupees. 

Earlier, the rural municipality has already decided that the children of public representatives, employees and teachers should be educated in government schools. The municipality has also introduced a policy of giving tax exemption to families who teach in public schools.
