The police have arrested a person for the crime of forcing a 16-year-old girl.
55-year-old Dhan Bahadur Sunar of Palungtar Municipality-4 was arrested on Tuesday based on the complaint filed by the victim's mother saying that he tried to force the girl on Monday, DSP Indra Prasad Subedi of District Police Office Gorkha said.
The police also said that a case was registered against the accused goldsmith under the title of forced labor industry offense and the district court extended the deadline to keep him in custody.
