Born in Salyan. Read Nepalgunj. Karmabhumi made Bardiya. Now, Toplal Vick, who is engaged in commercial banana farming, has employed 12 people in addition to earning a lot of income.

43-year-old Vick from Gulria Municipality-4 Sirjansheel Tol worked in the enterprise development branch of the municipality for 6 years . He quit his job last October and is fully engaged in his own business. Having studied Electrical Engineering, he has also done Masters from RD (Rural Development).

From the time he wakes up in the morning until he sleeps in the evening, he is busy taking care of the packaging, cutting the prepared bananas and sending the ripe bananas to the market in the chamber . He also provides consultancy services to commercial banana farmers. His business has become a center of learning for other people in the community . Farmers who need any information about bananas in the district go to him .

During his foreign employment, he lived in Denmark and Qatar for three years. "I came back thinking that I should do something in my own country instead of suffering abroad," he says, "If I had stayed abroad, I would have earned money, but I would not have been able to guide the youth of the community towards agriculture."

The Ministry of Labor and Employment and the Ministry of Youth and Sports have given him a national award along with cash for his excellent work in agriculture technology in 2075.

He said that the Elam Helvetas organization has provided training on how to research business opportunities in Nepal. "The organization trained and selected me as the resource person for the project and taught me about herbs, banana cultivation and nursery," he said, "I started by teaching others why not myself." In the first phase, after producing and selling 5000 banana plants, there was a good income . Continuing that, he said that they are currently producing and selling one to one and a half million banana plants annually.

He has started banana cultivation since 2072 and has planted bananas in 12 bighas. He has G Nine, William Hybrid, Red Banana and Malvog varieties of bananas.  According to him,

is sold for 40 rupees per bag. An annual turnover of 40 million and 60 million from banana production is generated from berna production . "I have taken 12 bigha land under contract, for which I have to pay an annual rent of 720,000". After deducting all the expenses, the annual income is 2 million, he said.

'First banana plants were produced and sent to 10 districts including Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Surkhet, Banke Kailali. At that time, there were no banana farmers in Bardia. However, the interest of farmers towards banana has increased since three-four years,' he said, 'It is difficult to meet the demand of farmers in the district.'

He told that the farmer had taken the banana from himself to cultivate 400 bighas of banana in Bardia . He doesn't just sell wraps,  By providing all the necessary things to the farmers, they also buy the produced bananas . He said that the produced bananas are sold in Kohalpur, Nepalgunj, Dang, Pokhara and Janakpur. "There is no problem in marketing because we have our own chambers for banana ripening and transportation," he says.

His plan is to process the wasted poles and leaves and extract the fibers and sell them and produce organic fertilizers . He says that there is no need to go out in search of work if you develop professional education and skills as well as the mindset to work.
