The trailer of the Nepali film 'Kumari', which will be released on Magh 23, was unveiled along with a musical evening at Bhrikuti Mandap.
Director Dinesh Raut said that he was happy to release the trailer among a large number of viewers. The trailer launch program featured a performance by playback singer Kehar Singh Limbu and his band ‘Kehar and the Lunga’. In addition, the bands ‘Istrees’ and ‘Trija Pradhan and the Tukucha’ also gave musical performances. The lead actors Abhishek Khadka and Aakriti Rajbhandari, who made their debut in the film, expressed their gratitude to the audience for their presence. The trailer seems to focus on love, family relationships and conflicts between characters. In the trailer, the character played by Abhishek Khadka is presented as a young man who is oppressed by circumstances, while the character of Aakriti Rajbhandari is based on self-respect and decision-making ability. An attempt has been made to show the flow of the story through visuals, dialogues and music. The trailer was edited by Shahil Khan. Actor Aryan Sigdel and actress Thinley Lhamo wished the actors well at the event.
Director Raut has previously directed films like 'I Am Sorry', 'November Rain', 'Classic', 'Prasad', 'Prakash' and 'Pujaar Sarki'. 'Kumari' is produced by Mahendra Adhikari under the banner of Vinish Entertainment, while the story and screenplay are written by Vikas Subedi.
The film stars Abhishek Khadka, Aakriti Rajbhandari, as well as Ghanashyam Joshi, Sunita Shrestha, Akanksha Karki, Madhu Khadka, Sanam Shrestha, Saku Shah, Saroj Lamichhane and Manasha Sharma. The cinematography is by Susan Prajapati.
The public songs 'Doko Bunne', 'Kata Chaw Mero Phool' and 'Timi Bina' have already gained popularity.
The film will be released nationwide on Magh 23.
