The Doti Festival 2082, which will start in Doti from Falgun 1, organized by the Doti Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is opening the door to possibilities along with entertainment this time. Many of the youth of Doti are good at singing. They can easily sing folk songs, deuda, modern songs and bhajans, but they were far from the mic and studio until now. 'Doti Idol' is an attempt to bridge that gap. The organizers say that the program was started with the aim of finding, introducing and promoting talents who have not had the opportunity to record songs despite having rich voices.

Newly talented singers from Doti district between the ages of 12 and 40 will be able to participate in the competition. In the first phase of the audition, 3/3 contestants will be selected from each local level. For those who are selected, this will not just be a competition, but a journey of confidence and identity.
Contestants who have passed the preliminary stage will be entered into the final stage to be held at the festival venue Dipayal. In the final stage, they will be evaluated by a jury consisting of renowned singers, musicians and music experts of Nepal.
Top three will be given a song record, dreams will be given speed
The top three singers who are considered the best in the final stage of Doti Idol will be given the opportunity to record a professional song, a certificate and a cash prize. According to the organizers, a greater achievement than this award is the opening of the door to enter the national music market.
Those interested in participating in the competition must register their names with the secretariat of the Doti Chamber of Commerce and Industry by 15th Magh, 2082. It has been arranged that registered contestants must record and send audio of two different genres of songs along with a video.

Doti Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Bikram Saund says, 'Doti Idol is not just a competition, it is a campaign to bring the original art and talent of the district to the national level.' According to him, this will not only increase the creative energy of the youth, but also strengthen their cultural identity.
