Neeraj Pandey, who has produced famous films like 'Special 26' and 'A Wednesday' and popular series like 'Special Ops', is coming up with a new series 'Taskari: The Smuggler's Web'.
The story of the series revolves around the customs department of the airport. Emraan plays the role of Superintendent Arjun Meena. He is a fast-paced officer and keeps a close watch on the international smuggling network.
The teaser starts with Emraan Hashmi's voiceover. He says, 'Spread over 2000 acres, Mumbai International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world. Wherever there are passengers and trade, there is also smuggling. Smuggling. For the past few years, there has been a game of eye-to-eye between us and the smugglers. Sometimes they win, sometimes we do.'
The web series 'Taskari: The Smuggler's Web' has been directed by Raghav Jayarath. The series is said to be streaming on Netflix from January 14, 2026.
