'Apne 2' is incomplete without Dharmendra

Bollywood director Anil Sharma was preparing to make 'Apne 2'. It was supposed to be a sequel to the 2007 Bollywood film 'Apne'. However, since the film's main character Dharmendra is no longer there, the story of the film will now be incomplete.

Director Sharma was preparing to make a film with Dharmendra and his two sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, the old characters of the film.

Dharmendra, who had done films like 'Sholay', 'Anupama', 'Chupke Chupke', left the world last Monday. Director Sharma had said that many stories would be incomplete while remembering Dharmendra. 'I am very sad. There are also regrets in my heart. Not everything in this world is complete. Many stories will be incomplete,' director Sharma told Indian media, 'Now we only have the memory of Dharamji. His love will always be with us.'

'Apne' was the first time that Dharmendra and his two sons worked together on the same screen. The film was directed by Anil at the time. Although Anil announced that he would make 'Apne 2' in 2020, he had been busy making the sequel for many years. The film was also set to feature Dharmendra's grandson Karan Deol.

Director Sharma had spoken to Dharmendra about the film just 2 months ago. At that time, Sharma had told him about the film work he had been doing.
