The list of films to be screened at the 'Nepal-US International Film Festival 2025', which is held every year in Maryland, USA, has been announced.
Films including 'Shambala' directed by Meen Bahadur Bham, which was the main competition of the Berlin Film Festival last year, 'Pooja Sir (Rajaganj)' directed by Deepak Rauniar and 'Bhutan: The World Hopist Man' directed by Vinod Paudel, made in the Nepali diaspora of America, will be screened at the festival.
June 26 31 films including feature films, documentaries, short films and animations from 15 countries including Nepal, America, Iran, Mexico, Saudi will be screened in the festival which will be held from 20 to 29. The opening and closing of the
festival will be held at the AFI Silver Theater in Maryland. It is said that the films of the four-day festival will be screened at AFI Silver Theater as well as at Greenbelt Cinema Theater. The festival will be inaugurated on June 26 at the AFI Silver Theater with a screening of the
film 'Shambala'. The festival will conclude with the performance of 'Pooja Sir' (Rajaganj) on June 29. The best film among the
performances will be awarded with various awards.
