'Kathmandu International Guitar Festival 2025' will be held on June 9 and 10 under the auspices of Wave Hospital. Along with 6 foreign musicians, guitarist Kishore Gurung will perform at the program to be held at the Global Music Conservatory in Bashundhara.
Musicians from Germany, Iran, Thailand, Liechtenstein, America, France will perform 'instrumental' on classical guitar. Along with the performance, a 'master class' will also be organized by musicians from abroad. Kishore said that this master class will also be conducted to sharpen classical guitar for music students.
'All the guitarists coming to Nepal for the presentation are musicians who have won awards,' Kishore said, 'especially now they are coming to Thailand to perform. That's why I invited them to Nepal.'
will be organized for two days and four artists will perform every day. According to Kishore, they will give a two-hour performance. The preparations to bring these musicians to Nepal have been going on for the past 1 year.
After 15 years, Kishore will perform on the classical guitar in this program. Meanwhile, because of 'focal dystonia', the teenager stopped performing in the country/abroad.'
