Popular Indian singer Sonu Nigam recently shared a video on his Instagram. In the video, he expressed his displeasure about the Padma award. He named some singers and expressed regret that they were not given due respect.

Sonu Nigam said in the video, "The contribution of the singers who have contributed to the Indian music and entertainment sector is priceless". However, great singers like Mohammad Rafi and Kishore Kumar have not received the Padma award till now.'

Sonu Nigam has said that Alka Yagnik, Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chauhan also deserve the honour. He expressed regret that they have not been awarded the Padma yet. 

Sonu Nigam returned to Nepal a few weeks ago after giving his excellent performance. He has also sung some Nepali songs. Among his Nepali songs, 'Ukali Orali Karye' and 'Yo Zindagile...' are famous.
