After 'Bhool Bhulaiya', director Priyadarshan is going to bring a new horror comedy film 'Bhoot Bangla' with Vidya Balan and Akshay Kumar. After the success of 'Bhul Bhulaiya' in 2007, Priyadarshan was offered by producers Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar to direct the rest of 'Bhul Bhulaiya'.
However, Priyadarshan did not show interest in making a sequel saying that there is no need to stretch the story of 'Bhul Bhulaiya'. However, the producers made two more parts of 'Bhool Bhulaiya' without Priyadarshan which were directed by Anish Bazmee .
However, like the first part of 'Bhul Bhulaiya', the audience did not like the second and third parts.
Priyadarshan has announced to make 'Bhoot Bangla' with these two stars on the occasion of Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer 'Bhool Bhulaiya' being preferred by the viewers who are not satisfied with the new sequel. After 'De Dana Dan', Priyadarshan and Akshay collaborated after 14 years. Priyadarshan is working with Vidya for the second time.
horror comedy Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav will also be seen in this film . The film will release within the year 2025 .
