Judo player Manita Shrestha Pradhan will represent Nepal in this year's Paris Olympics. According to Sujanlal Shrestha, Executive Secretary of Nepal Olympic Committee, he received a wild card.
Manita will compete under the women's 57 kg weight group . He is also an Olympic scholarship player.
The number of Nepalese athletes participating in the Paris Olympics with Manita has reached seven. Among the players who have already been scheduled to play in the Paris Olympics are Shantu Shrestha of table tennis, Santosh Shrestha of athletics, Prince Dahal of badminton, Sushmita Nepal of shooting and Alexander Shah and Duwana Lama of swimming.
