Ward president Mitralal Rizal said that despite the line extension work three years ago, more than 600 families of Kalimati Rural Municipality-7 have not been able to turn on electricity because the substation is not near. He said that even now they are forced to use local solar tuki and lanterns as they are not able to connect the electricity lines. He said that even though the process of constructing the substation in Kalimati-4 has been advanced after repeated requests, it is unlikely that it will be completed immediately, so the locals will have to wait for a few more years for electricity.

Bangad Kupinde Municipality-11 Ward President Veer Bahadur Budhamgar said that although lights have been lit in the sand collector and racker for some years, the other slum dwellers of the ward have not been able to light the lights. He said that out of a thousand households in the ward, more than 700 families are out of reach of electricity. We have repeatedly demanded for lights. Even if the Salyan district is to be completely electrified by June 2082, Dinesh Paudel, head of the Salyan Authority, said that 21,000 families in the district have not yet been able to turn on the lights because the budget of 100 million per year cannot be implemented in all places of the district. 'It seems that 68 crores will be required for complete electrification of the district, the government allocates 9/10 crores every year . He said that after the completion of substation work in Ward 4, everyone will get electricity facilities.
