The rural municipality is going to build a 'guerrilla path' to commemorate the Goretto road used by Maoist fighters, leaders and activists during the conflict.

The DPR of 'Guerrilla Trekking Trail' has been made by integrating those Goreto paths. According to the DPR, the construction of some sections has also been started.

During the armed conflict, Tarakhola here is a very affected area . Only 26 people were martyred in Tarakhola. 2 people are missing . In other incidents in Tarakhola, the death toll was 102.

The rural municipality is preparing to manage homestays at least 5 places by constructing a 63 km long footpath . Homestays have already started operating in three of them. A homestay will also be made in the remaining places. Those who are trekking here will be able to hang a tripal and stay. Relics of armed conflict will be collected around the walkway. 

From Argal, which is the center of Tarakhola rural municipality, through Shahid Park, Thami, Baranjadhuri of Myagdi, Tinchule of Tarakhola, Malarani, Deurali Nayawan, Chinar, Tinchule, Dudelek have been drawn. The footpath will cover the section from Dudelek to Zulfe, Gaighat Jharna, Motimarre, Majkhark, Dhamja Deurali, Solighopte to Puan Rural Municipality Center . For that, you can join the footpath from Dhamzadeurali, Argal or Gaighat waterfall.

Dudelek, the highest on this trail, is 3,600 meters high, while Hocho Gaighat waterfall is 1,350 meters high.

Tarakhola rural municipality-1 Metimare was established as a Maoist training center since November 2051. "Maoists established a training center in Moti Mare to start the people's war from February 1, 2052," said Dhan Bahadur Vick, Chairman of Tarakhola Rural Municipality, "As it is a historical site, this center is included in the footpath." Tarakhola aims to bring in a lot of tourists by making this footpath commercial. This route also connects to Ghumtelek in Galkot Municipality. Those who want to trek can also travel from Tarakhola to Tamankhola Sole . A footpath has also been constructed in this section. 

Sole can be reached by hiking in one day from Bolihile. The government of Gandaki province has managed the budget in the budget of the financial year 2082/083 to make Sole a tourist destination, to level the roads towards Myagdi and Baglung, and to build tourism infrastructure. Both the municipalities have taken initiatives to ease the difficult section of this footpath.

During the armed conflict, the locals under Maoist leadership opened the track of this nearly 40 km road . The said road has been named Shahid Marg. Vic said that the goal is to make this road level in the future and make it easier for vehicles to drive.

Before this, the process of leveling the road connecting Galkot to Tarakhola is going on. The strategic road connecting rooms of Mangala Rural Municipality of Myagdi through Galkot, Tarakhola, which was supposed to be completed three years ago, has not been completed yet. People from Gulmi side can also go to Tarakhola by this road . As some sections have been leveled, Ward no. 3. From Ghusmeli to Galkot, Gulmi to Butwal via Musikot, the jeep has come into operation.

Locals have become optimistic after the Gandaki state government also allocated a budget for the plan to connect the strategic road from Majkhark. When this road is connected, the way to the municipality for the residents of Ward No. 1 will be shortened.
