In Lamjung, a new fare rate has been established for public transport from Monday. The District Administration Office has announced that the new fare has been implemented after the Temporary Highway and Fare Determination Committee passed the vehicle fare.
The administration has asked to inform the traffic police if they charge more than the new fare. The committee's coordinator and chief district officer Buddha Bahadur Gurung passed the new fare rate for public vehicles at a meeting involving stakeholders held on Sunday. Fares have been reduced in some places. .
Bensi Sahar-Dumre (Tanahun) bus has been fixed at 185 rupees instead of 195 rupees before. 240 rupees on Benisahar-Paundi-Rinaskot bus and 290 rupees on jeep.
Bensisahar-Tarkughat-Pyarjung-Jorne (Doodhpokhari rural municipality center) earlier, the bus was 365 rupees, now it is 360 rupees and jeep 430 rupees.
Benisahar-Paundi-Tinpiple (Rainas Municipal Center) Bus 100 and Jeep 120 has been fixed . Similarly, 170 rupees has been fixed for Borangkhola bus and 200 rupees for jeeps.
