A protest has been held in Mirchaiya demanding the dismissal of the newly appointed Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Saroj Kumar Yadav. The protest was led by Provincial Assembly member Bhagyashree Chaudhary from the Janmat Party.
Stating that Yadav was appointed illegally by insulting the constitution and federalism, Provincial Assembly member Chaudhary demanded that the government dismiss him. 'This act by the provincial chief is an insult to the constitution and federalism,' she said, 'Therefore, he should be dismissed immediately.'
She also warned that her party would launch a strong protest if Yadav was not dismissed.
