Three have been arrested for beating up the Yadav family of Bodebarsain Municipality-1 Dhangadhi of Saptari who got justice in a land dispute. They were arrested on Tuesday after "Kantipur" published the news on Monday.

SP Dhakendra Khatiwada said that Somnidevi Mandal, Aarti Mandal and Ritakumari Mandal who were involved in the beating were arrested. Somnidevi, who was arrested, is the wife of Shambhu Mandal, while Aarti is the daughter-in-law of Medi Mandal. All the three people have been brought to the district from Ela police office Bodebarsain on Tuesday. "According to the complaint, we have arrested three people who were involved in the beating, others are also being searched," he said. The sister, who was seriously injured in the beating, is being treated at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital Rajviraj for 7 days. They also got head injuries. Being financially poor, the doctor suggested her to undergo a 'city scan', but she could not undergo a 'city scan' due to the broken equipment in the hospital.

Neighbor Shambhu and Mr. Medi had filed a case related to 'Kichola metai ghar utai challan' in the Saptari district court with Sujandevi's husband Khushilal as the opponent. Judge Tejnarayan Poudel, deciding on the case on 26th June 2072, ruled that the rights of the plaintiffs (Shambhu and Medi) will not be affected until the house in the 8 Dhur village block land of Lot No. 167 is razed or removed.  Sujandevi says that after the

verdict, they have been repeatedly beaten and threatened to evict them from there.
