Artist couple Sitaram Kattel 'Dhurmus' and Kunjana Ghimire 'Suntali' have clarified the propaganda that they have fled to America through social media. Stating that they have reached America for their daughter's treatment, they have urged people not to believe the misleading propaganda.

In a Facebook post, Kattel said that they applied for the US's 'Extra Ordinary Green Card' three years ago after they could not even do art in Nepal and did not find any basis to survive. This is a permanent residence permit given to those with extraordinary abilities in various fields.

'After getting this card, there will be free medical facilities for children of low-income parents through insurance/Medicaid. Earlier, our second child in Kunjana's womb was lost due to 'stress'. We did not want to take any risks for our only child. We decided to apply for the 'Extra Ordinary' in the US for her health and a secure future,' he mentioned. Two years after applying, they received their visas last year.

Coming out of the stadium quagmire, he said that he wanted to go to America for his daughter's treatment. He added, "We had repeatedly requested the Bharatpur Metropolitan City and the federal government to relieve us of this burden as soon as possible, but despite all our efforts, there was no solution. We only got disappointment. Therefore, we were forced to come to America now, putting the problem aside so that our daughter's life would not be at risk. I hope everyone will understand this compulsion."

He mentioned that after his daughter's treatment, he would return to Nepal and enjoy his art. Kattel has a debt from the construction of the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium under construction in Chitwan. Bharatpur Metropolitan City had been saying that they were being harmed when the amount decided by the Council of Ministers had not been paid.
