Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ajay Kumar Chaurasia has said that the consensus reached on the Transitional Justice (TRC) Bill has conveyed the message that the country's democracy is sustainable and strong.

After the discussion on the Inquiry, Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Third Amendment) Bill, 2079 in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, Minister Chaurasia thanked the members for helping to bring the bill to a logical conclusion.

He thanked everyone who played a role in the drafting of the bill. 'Everyone has addressed the Parliament with a pure spirit of bringing the peace process to an end. The message that this country's democracy is sustainable and strong has gone out in the country, he said, 'I thank you for helping to bring this historical document to its logical conclusion.'
