The Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry has honored Pashmina Exporter Company Tricourt with the 'Export Excellence Award 2024'. The association has informed that tricot has been honored as it ranks first in the country in terms of export of knitted fabric.
In the last five years, tricot has exported worth 1.94 billion rupees. Similarly, the company has already sold clothes worth about 17 million rupees in the Nepali market.
"We are currently exporting our products to world-famous brands," said Shakti Golyan, Managing Director of Tricot.
Company has been manufacturing and exporting garments for men and women such as pashmina sweaters, shawls, hats and socks made from 'wool and cotton' yarn. Currently more than 350 employees are directly employed in Tricot, which has an industry in Biratnagar.
