The body of a 10-year-old boy from Butwal, who drowned in the Tinau river on Monday while swimming, has been found.

According to District Police Office Rupandehi, the body of 10-year-old Dipsan Rana, a resident of Butwal sub-metropolitan city-11 Pragatinagar, was found. DSP and Spokesperson Suraj Karki of District Police Office Rupandehi said that Dipshan, who had gone to swim with his friends in Tinau River in Butwal-11 Pragati Nagar, drowned. According to him, after Dipsan did not come home till evening, the parents inquired and reported to Devinagar temporary police station in Butwal at 8 pm on Monday. 

His body was found on the shore of Tinau on Monday night while a team including police and locals were searching.

Three children died while swimming in the Danava river in Lumbini Cultural Municipality-2 Ardauli of Rupandehi on Monday.
