Nepalese ambassador to Germany and non-resident ambassador to the Czech Republic Dr. Shail Rupakheti presented his certificate of rank to President Peter Powell.
Ambassador Rupakheti, on behalf of President Ramchandra Poudel, wished President Pavel health and the prosperity of the Czech people at a ceremony held at the Prague Palace on Monday. Emphasizing the possibility of bilateral cooperation between Nepal and the Czech Republic, the ambassador expressed hope that relations will expand further in the future.
President Powell welcomed the new ambassador and expressed his best wishes for peace, progress and prosperity of the Nepalese president and people. He expressed his belief that the relationship between the two countries will be strengthened during the tenure of Ambassador Rupakheti. Czech high officials were present at the
event. Ambassador Rupakheti's wife Dr. Indira Paudyal and Deputy Chief Sagar Prasad Phuyal participated in the program. In addition, he discussed matters of mutual interest with the officials of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
