Current Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising, has said that there is a problem in electricity supply due to the inability of the current leadership of the authority to manage it. Ghising, who is visiting the US with the 'Ujyalo Nepal Campaign', commented that although the power generation is sufficient in the program conducted by the Nepali community in Austin, there is a problem in the power supply across the country because the authority's leadership has not shown managerial capacity.
After the new management came, the right people who were started in the past were placed in the right place and those who were doing good work were removed from their responsibilities by calling them people of high quality. Ghising said, "Therefore, the current problem of electricity supply in Nepal is not the source, but the failure of management. It is a complete failure of management." Ghising's comment was. He mentioned that the government removed itself humiliatingly when it was trying to collect the premium tariff arrears of the industrial customers who took power from
Ghat to profit, delivered electricity to almost everyone's houses, dedicated and took electricity from trunk line during load shedding in the past.
The end of load shedding is not magic, Ghising said that load shedding ended in the country when the executive director of the authority honestly performed his duties.
``We have got electricity, but there is still darkness in many places, we started the Bright Nepal campaign thinking that we should do something to remove the darkness that prevails in the country,'' he said.
He called to join the ``Bright Nepal campaign'' announced to instill hope and give confidence that something can and can be done within the country. He mentioned that 'Ujyalo Nepal' is not only a campaign of change, but also a campaign for good governance, efficient public service delivery, social justice, economic prosperity and an overall economic revolution in the country.
Ghising had earlier visited the Middle Eastern countries of Bahrain, Oman, UAE and Qatar to meet the Nepalis who are sweating in foreign lands.
