A company run by a Nepali in Qatar has received a prestigious award. Mahottari's Yasmin Naz's company QST Training and Consultancy has received the 'Qatar CSR Award-2025' award.
Yasmin received the award from the CSR head Saif Ali Alhazri on the occasion of the CSR Summit held in the capital Doha on Wednesday evening. Under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar University and others distribute this award.
CSR Awards are given to companies and organizations that contribute to the social sector in Qatar. Along with this, Yasmin's company has become the first Nepali-owned organization to receive the CSR Award.
Yasmin's company has been providing paid and free Tamil for skills and professional development to workers working in various areas of countries including Nepal, India, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Africa and other countries in Qatar. Yasmin says that this award is a matter of pride not only for her company but also for Nepal. 'We have a different perspective in foreign countries, but it has given a message that we are also capable, capable and entitled to everything, this is a matter of pride for Nepal itself.'
