Similarly, the embassy said that the prepared passports will be distributed to the clients who applied for electronic passports from the previously conducted mobile camps, while the biological data of the clients who could not get their passports ready due to various reasons will be collected again. .

Being a new embassy, we are also working on internal preparations and management.'
The newly appointed Nepalese Ambassador to Portugal Prakashmani Poudel will come to Portugal within a few days and after that the Acting Ambassador of Nepal will provide all services. According to him, with the start of consular services, Nepalese customers who have problems related to verification of police character certificates and other documents have been flocking to the embassy premises.
The embassy has said that it will provide services related to verification of police character certificate, birth certificate, proof of kinship, marriage registration and other documents certified by Consular Service Department Kathmandu. Sita Basnet, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Nepali Embassy in France, Anil Rana, Third Secretary of the Nepali Embassy in Lisbon, and other staff have been deployed in the traveling service. The embassy has said that it will provide mobile services until February 26, i.e., February 14, and after that it will provide its regular services .

After the establishment of the embassy, the compulsion to go to Spain, France and other countries where Nepalese embassies are located has ended. Although there is no exact statistics of Nepalese in Portugal, the embassy estimates that there are around 60,000.
