The Social Security Fund has accumulated a contribution amount of Rs 116.71 billion 89.50 billion 525.

The contribution amount has been accumulated by the end of Ashar of the fiscal year 2082/83. The amount has been deposited by registered employers and registered contributors.

According to the fund, the number of registered employers has reached 23,490, while the number of registered contributors has reached 3,043,200. The fund has paid claims worth Rs 21.27 billion 120,252. Similarly, Rs 3.52 billion 547,462 has been provided towards medical treatment, health and maternity claims.

An amount of Rs. 304.6 million 6,514 has been provided towards accident and disability security claims, Rs. 384.25 million 216 towards dependent family security claims, and Rs. 176.4 million 414,061 towards retirement claims. The contribution amount has increased after the recent inclusion of workers going for foreign employment in the fund.

As pension, medical treatment and other social security programs have been taken forward, it has been found that the interest of the general public in the fund is increasing. The fund has started investing in various productive sectors.
