18 new two-wheeler and 29 new four-wheeler brands are to be launched at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo-2026 to be held from 26th to 31st of July.
Fermi Motors is to launch a commercial vehicle of the Skyworth and Keaton brands at the expo. The expo, organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), will have 51 stalls at the expo to be held at Bhrikutimandap.
The organizers say that more than 55 brands of different companies will be present at the expo. At the expo to be held on the eve of the festival, various companies are competing to give discounts on their brands of vehicles. The organizers have said that so far, 48 brands of different companies are being prepared to launch. Paramount Motors is the largest, launching five four-wheeler electric vehicles of the Wuling brand. They include Xian, Mini, Darien, Bingo and Linkis EV.
In the four-wheeled segment, Continental Trading Enterprises is preparing to launch 3 vehicles of the Kia brand, EV Ride Pvt. Ltd. is preparing to launch 1 vehicle of the Horni Boma brand, and Himalaya Maxx is preparing to launch 3 vehicles of the Maxus brand. Similarly, Laxmi Commercial is preparing to launch 2 vehicles of the Kerry Commercial brand, Laxmi E-Mobility is preparing to launch 1 vehicle each of the Kaiyi brand, and Laxmi Motorhub is preparing to launch 1 vehicle each of the Arcfox and Bike brands.
Among the new vehicle companies and brands to be listed for public release at the expo, SQ Enterprises is launching 3 vehicles of the Henry Volts brand and Shangri-La Motors is launching 1 vehicle of the Lipmotors brand. So far, the largest number of new brands of four-wheeled vehicles have been listed for public release. United Traders Syndicate is launching two vehicles of the Toyota brand and two vehicles of the VG Impex GWM (Great Wall Motors) brand.
SPG Automobiles will launch one new brand each of Omoda and Icar at the expo, the organizers have said. Pioneer MotoCorp is launching one new vehicle each of the Nissan brand and GO Automobiles is launching one new vehicle each of the MG brand. The number of companies launching new brands at the expo is also increasing in the two-wheeler sector. Bikers Nepal is launching three new motorcycles of the ZXmoto/CX brand at the expo.
Eco Infinity is launching three new vehicles of the Niu brand, Evoque Nepal is launching two new electric scooters of the Karen electric scooter. Hansraj Hulaschandra & Company is preparing to launch two new vehicles of the Bajaj brand, Jagdamba Motors two new vehicles of the TVS brand and Kuju Nepal three new vehicles of the Yadia brand. Parimita Investment is launching one of the Gyro brand, Trayana Mobility is launching one of the Ultraviolet brand, and United Traders Syndicate is launching one of the Morbidelli brand at the expo.
NAIMA Auto Show Planning Committee Coordinator Gaurav Sharda said that preparations are underway to launch more than 40 new two- and four-wheeled vehicles of different brands at the expo. ‘The stalls have been sold out,’ he said, ‘even after five brands requested, we were unable to provide space, due to lack of space, it was difficult to get those brands to participate in the expo.’ He said that since the hall is being prepared keeping in mind the rain, there will be no problem from water from entering and exiting the expo.
NAIMA has stated that the expo will include two-wheelers, four-wheelers, commercial vehicles, electric and hybrid mobility solutions, technology, services and other mobility-related products. NAIMA President Ritu Singh Baidya said that the organization, which started with 21 members a year ago to include automobile importers and manufacturers for Nepal, has now grown to 36 major member companies. She said that NAIMA has already institutionalized major programs such as the NAIMA Mobility Expo and the NAIMA Monthly Mobility Dialogue.
10 percent of the proceeds from the expo's ticket sales will be allocated for research fellowship and training initiatives, and the research and articles prepared through the fellowship will be published in the NAIMA Mobility Journal. NAIMA plans to organize a Mobility Conclave and organize training programs focused on skill enhancement and job creation in the mobility sector, especially in collaboration with the government, including the Ministry of Education, said Chair Baidya.
