The District Administration Office, Kathmandu has dissolved the working committee of the Nepal Foreign Employment Entrepreneurs Association led by Bhuwan Singh Gurung and directed the association's management committee to hold a special general meeting. The administration's directive letter has paved the way for the special general meeting scheduled for Jestha 24.

The administration has sent a letter to the association stating that the working committee has been automatically dissolved as per the statute after two-thirds of the office bearers of the association resigned. 'As it appears that the number of office bearers resigning has reached two-thirds, the current working committee of the association has been automatically dissolved as per the provisions of Section 26, 4 (b) of the association's statute,' the letter sent by the district administration to the association on Monday said. 'Therefore, as provided in the association's statute, the formation of the management committee under Section 26, 4 (b) was done by the decision of the advisory committee, and it seems that the work is in accordance with the statute.'

The administration has issued a three-point directive to the management committee. In which it is mentioned to call a special general meeting to implement the provisions of Section 26 (4) of the association's statute, to continue the work as per the statute in the event that the process has already started, and to provide written updates to the District Administration Office on all the work, decisions and related matters to be done by the management committee.

The District Administration Office has also instructed that no one should obstruct the work process. 'No one should create any obstruction in this work process,' the letter says, 'If any work is found to be done contrary to the instructions, the District Administration Office will be informed immediately.'

The administration has informed the Ministry of Youth, Labor and Employment about this. The management committee includes former presidents Rajendra Bhandari, Bimal Dhakal, businessmen Janak Rawal, Dhanlal Jaishi, Madhukar Rijal, Binodjung Keshi and Som Bahadur Tamang.
