The second edition of the ‘Everest Summiters Summit-2026’ is being organized in Kathmandu on 13 Jestha. The organizer has stated that all preparations for the program, organized by Everest Alliance Nepal and in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, have been completed. This year, 176 Everest climbers from 26 countries of the world will be honored with special medals and certificates, said Everest Alliance Nepal President Sudarshan Nepal.
'We started this program last year with the aim of honoring the Everest climbers,' he said, 'The grand completion of the first edition has made its importance and scope clear. It has become a global platform, not just for Nepal. This time, we are more excited because there is direct cooperation and coordination from the Nepal government.'
