Nepal Rastra Bank has directed banks and financial institutions to provide convenient banking facilities by giving special priority to senior citizens, citizens with disabilities and illiterate people.
The central bank has issued integrated instructions to banks and financial institutions of categories A, B and C, asking them to provide services to customers of such categories by designating special counters.

Such details should also be made public on their websites. If a financial service person, including ATM, mobile banking, internet banking, self-declares that he can use the service, the licensed institution must provide such service.
Its website and mobile banking app should include information on the visually impaired. It should be developed so that it can be used by people with disabilities. Similarly, credit and debit cards should be equipped with visually impaired technology. Similarly, the integrated directive states that additional remuneration should be provided as per the prevailing provisions when assigned to work overtime. The directive also states that employees will not be forced or compelled to work overtime.
