According to the 63rd annual report of the Auditor General, the amount has to be paid. The corporation had taken a loan of 22 billion from the Employees Provident Fund on 2070 Ashar 4 and 2074 Jestha 28 under the guarantee of the government for the purchase of A-320 and A-330 aircraft. Similarly, it had taken a loan of 12 billion from the Citizens Investment Fund.

The total principal and interest outstanding is 31 billion 339.2 million 31 thousand to the Employees Provident Fund and 21 billion 121.7 million to the Citizens Investment Fund.
