The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, fell by 39.44 points on Tuesday. The overall NEPSE fell by 1.41 percent compared to Monday to 2,744.40 points. Although it rose by 38 points the previous day, that improvement did not last until Tuesday.
Of the 13 companies that were traded on Tuesday, the price of 13 increased, the price of 251 companies decreased, and the price of 5 remained unchanged.
On that day, 116,78,555 shares were bought and sold in a total of 62,512 share transactions. Shares worth 4.665 billion rupees were traded in the purchase and sale. The transaction amount is almost the same as the previous trading day. Shares worth 4.313 billion rupees were traded on Monday.
The overall NEPSE fell by double digits after the indices of all 13 subgroups that were traded, except for mutual funds, declined.
