According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Merchants Federation, the price of gold in the local market today is Rs 294,700 per tola and Rs 4,875 per tola of the same quantity of white metal. On Wednesday, the price of gold in the local market was Rs 299,000 per tola and Rs 5,025 per tola of the same quantity of silver. Last Tuesday, the price of gold in the local market was Rs 291,800 per tola and Rs 4,820 per tola of the same quantity of white metal. According to international media, an ounce of gold is being traded in the international market today at Rs 4,713 and Rs 73 per tola of the same quantity of silver.
