According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Merchants' Federation, the price of gold in the local market today is Rs 299,000 per tola and the price of the same quantity of white metal is Rs 5,250. Yesterday, Tuesday, the price of gold in the local market was Rs 291,800 per tola and the price of the same quantity of white metal was Rs 4,820.
Last Monday, the price of gold in the local market was Rs 291,400 per tola and the price of the same quantity of white metal was Rs 4,780.
According to international media, an ounce of gold is being traded at Rs 4,870 and the same quantity of silver is being traded at US$ 78 in the international market today.
