According to Acting General Manager of Gautam Buddha International Airport, Shyak Kishore Sah, the plane, which will take off from Kuwait City, will land in Bhairahawa at 4:45 pm on Wednesday. The Boeing 777 (300) series long-range wide-body chartered plane is carrying more than 300 passengers. All the passengers on the plane will disembark in Bhairahawa. According to the airport, the plane will disembark here and depart for Lahore, Pakistan at 6:15 pm. The plane will return to Kuwait with cargo from Pakistan, according to Gautam Buddha Airport.
Acting Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Devchandra Lal Karna, said that the 'profile' of Bhairahawa Airport will be created due to the chartered flights of large aircraft. Earlier, a Qatar Airways plane had taken a pair of rhinos from Bhairahawa. 'Due to the successful chartered flights in the past, this time a Kuwaiti plane is also coming to Bhairahawa,' he said, 'The regular and chartered flights operating here will create the profile of the airport.'
