Nepal Rastra Bank is going to withdraw 40 billion rupees today through deposit collection equipment. After the amount (liquidity) that can be lent to banks and financial institutions is high, the Rastra Bank has started withdrawing the mentioned amount today through the deposit collection equipment. In the same vein, the Rastra Bank has stated that it is going to withdraw 40 billion rupees for 21 days today.
For the last three years, the Rastra Bank has been withdrawing money from the market regularly twice a week on Sundays and Wednesdays. In the same vein, it is going to withdraw money from the market today as well.
The notice issued by the Rastra Bank states that banks and financial institutions that want to place money in deposit collection can bid online until 3 pm today. Only banks and financial institutions of category 'A', 'B' and 'C' will be allowed to participate in the bidding for deposit collection equipment. The Rastra Bank has also stated that the deposit collection equipment purchased in this way can be used as collateral in other banks and financial institutions.
The Rastra Bank's notice states that when dividing the deposit collection by a minimum of 100 million and a maximum of 50 million rupees, the remainder can be left. The notification issued by the National Bank states that the bidding for deposit collection will be done at the interest rate, while multiple bidding can also be done at multiple interest rates.
