The Nepse index, which measures share turnover, fell by 71.05 points on the first trading day of the week. The Nepse fell by 2.40 percent to 2,879.11 points.

Of the companies traded, 10 increased their share prices, 255 decreased their share prices, and 1 remained unchanged.

All sub-groups traded decreased. Life insurance fell by 300.50 points, non-life insurance by 264.65 points, and development banks by 184.10 points.

A total of 35.248 million shares were traded in 196,158 share transactions. A total of 15.33 billion rupees was traded in these transactions.

The circuit broke after the share prices of Reliance Spinning Mills, Super Khudi Hydropower and Ridge Line Energy rose by 10 percent. Unique Nepal Laghubitta fell by 6.17 percent, and Himalayan Bank Limited Bond 2086 fell by 5.62 percent.
