Citizens Investment Fund and Kathmandu University have signed an agreement on the management and operation of the gratuity fund. The agreement signed on Monday was signed by Executive Director Parbat Kumar Karki on behalf of the fund and Rajiv Shrestha on behalf of the university.

After the agreement, the fund will update the amount received from the university by deducting the fund annually from the fund to the accounts of the concerned teachers and employees. As per the Fund Act, the fund will provide additional facilities such as depositing the interest and returns earned from the amount contributed to the fund in the accounts of the teachers and employees.

The fund will also provide loans to the permanent teachers and employees of the university as per the rules of the fund. Similarly, the agreement states that the fund will pay gratuity to retired teachers and employees on the recommendation of the school.
