A relief package has been proposed, ranging from map pass exemptions to tax exemptions, cheap loans, and insurance premiums.

The government is also going to provide 10 different types of facilities to the private sector whose property was damaged in the Gen-G movement of 23-24.
The government had formed a committee under the coordination of National Planning Commission Vice Chairman Prakash Kumar Shrestha to prepare an action plan 2082 for the reconstruction of physical structures damaged by the movement and the re-management of physical properties. The committee has submitted the action plan to the government.
In which cost assessment and policy arrangements have been made for the reconstruction of government physical structures. At the same time, various facilities have been proposed in the action plan for the reconstruction and re-management of private establishments and private property. The government is preparing to request the relevant bodies (provincial government, local government, Rastra Bank and other stakeholders) to implement the proposed facilities.
10-point facilities proposed for the private sector
1. Request the local level to waive the amount for the map approval in cases where a map has to be approved for the purpose of reconstructing damaged private establishments and private physical structures.
2. Request the local level to provide property tax exemption for three years to damaged private business establishments based on the damage .
3. Make arrangements to provide the insurance amount of insured physical structures immediately . If there is a liquidity shortage in the insurance company to provide the insurance amount, make arrangements to take short-term loans at concessional interest rates from Nepal Rastra Bank and the Employees Provident Fund, Citizens Investment Fund .
4. Request the provincial government to waive the vehicle tax levied on the registration of private vehicles that were completely damaged during the movement .
5. If the current assets of a company/firm/organization that is using working capital loan are completely damaged, make arrangements to convert the loan into an installment loan if the borrower so wishes . Make arrangements to classify the loan converted in this way as of mid-Ashar 2082 .
6. While it has been arranged that businesses affected by the movement can reschedule and restructure their loans by mid-Poush, the said period will be extended until mid-Ashar 2083 .
7. Set a grace period based on the time frame required to bring the business back into operation and classify the restructured loans by extending the grace period in this way in the same category as mid-Ashar 2082 .
8. If the borrower wants to take a loan at a fixed interest rate for a certain period of time without changing for the reconstruction of personal and commercial buildings and physical assets damaged during the movement, an arrangement will be made to provide it for up to five years by adding only 0.5 percent premium to the current base rate .
9. Provide relief for private vehicles, mobile phones, laptops and clothes damaged within the premises of public offices while receiving services from government offices or in the course of performing duties .
10. While providing such relief, 25 percent of the total cost will be provided through the concerned District Administration Office only on the basis of police reports after the incidents that took place on Bhadra 23 and 24, 2082.
