The corporation is going to send 7.1 kg LPG gas to the market with effect from Friday. It has decided to sell and distribute it at Rs. 955 per cylinder.

The corporation has stated that this decision has been taken to facilitate the availability of gas as per the demand of consumers. The corporation has stated that the trend of purchasing and storing more gas than required has been increasing in recent times.

Although the corporation has been importing and distributing gas regularly as per the demand, the demand has been high in the valley for the past 2-3 months, the statement mentioned. The ongoing war in West Asia is affecting the supply of petroleum products and gas globally.
