The country's foreign exchange reserves have exceeded 3.3 trillion. Compared to last Ashar, such reserves had increased by 6.25 trillion to 3.3 trillion 2.66 billion rupees by Magh. It has increased by 21.2 percent in mid-January 2082 from 2414 billion 640 million in mid-July 2082. Foreign exchange reserves held by banks and financial institutions (excluding Nepal Rastra Bank) have increased by 42.8 percent in mid-January 2082 from 2634 billion 400 million in mid-January 2082 to 37567 million in mid-January 2082.
