The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, which measures share trading, closed up 10.5 points on Wednesday. The overall NEPSE closed at 2,648.90 points after increasing by 10.30 points (0.39 percent) compared to the previous day. On Tuesday, the NEPSE had increased by 21.62 points. The NEPSE had increased for the previous two days.

Of the 157 companies that traded on Wednesday, the share price increased, while the price of 90 companies decreased. The remaining 13 companies remained stable.

A total of 1456,980 shares were traded on that day in 48,640 share transactions. Shares worth Rs 4.45 billion and 11 million were traded in those transactions.

The trading amount increased compared to the previous trading day. On Tuesday, the stock market saw a turnover of Rs 4.23 billion and 24 million.
